I knew I wanted to make birthday graphics that were in a cartoonish and animated style fitting for a baby's celebration. I turned to toys as the main inspiration for this project and thought Disney's Tsum Tsums were the perfect fit for what I was looking for: solid colors, cute characterization, and high contrast against backgrounds.
